Hi, I’m Katie a mum to a teenage daughter, I worked for 24 years as a secondary school teacher and now a fully qualified clinical hypnotherapist and psychotherapist.
I started my hypnotherapy journey in 2023, coming out of the pandemic I was seeing first hand how the lives of students, parents and teachers had changed this resulted in wanting to help people in a different way. So in March 2023 I began my journey to retrain through CPHT, one of the countries most established and highly regarded solution focused hypnotherapy training schools. I work with a wide variety of clients and have seen amazing results in a short period of time. I have insurance, hold an enhanced DBS and a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) and the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH).
I work with clients face to face in my clinic based just outside of Burton-on-Trent and online.
Solution focused hypnotherapy helps clients to make positive life long changes. The premise of this therapy is founded upon neuroscience and it is reassuring to know that the General Medical Council in the UK has stated that clinical hypnotherapy can be recommended by NHS doctors for certain conditions. In our sessions we will use a forward thinking evidence based model of solution based psychotherapy (SFBT) in conjunction with the relaxing benefits of hypnotherapy.
Hypnotherapy can help a range of concerns from anxiety, depression, smoking cessation, overwhelm and more. Each session you will be guided through a journey of relaxation helping you to remove old patterns of behaviour and rewiring those negative thought patterns. Sessions are uniquely tailored to the individuals needs ensuring that you get the desired outcomes.

Research shows that online hypnotherapy is as effective as in person and often allows the client to feel more relaxed in the comfort of their own home.
